I’ve spent most of my career in design and marketing, working in an increasingly fast, digital world. Lately, I’ve found myself drawn back to fine art — not by plan, but by the desire to slow down, notice details, and spend my time in a more thoughtful way.

I care deeply about creating work with meaning. I love capturing the character of a home and the details that make it feel familiar. Every home carries a story, whether it’s just beginning or already layered with history, and painting it feels like a way to hold onto that moment in time.

How to Prepare Reference Photos

Your finished portrait will be protected with a backing board, wrapped carefully, and shipped in a rigid mailer to keep it safe. Please allow ample time for ground shipping once it’s in the mail. Shipping is dependent on the postal service. I cannot guarantee delivery by a specific date. Alternate shipping services may be available.

Frames are not included.

Packaging & Shipping

  • Mini 5x7
  • 8x10, 9x12, 11x14
(If you need something larger, just let me know and I’ll create a custom option for you.)

All artwork is painted on 140lb bright white, cold-press watercolor paper using archival paints.

Sizes & Paper

Every portrait begins with a pencil sketch so you can see the layout before I start painting. From there, I build up the watercolor in several layers to bring out the details and personality of the home. Each piece takes 10–20 hours, depending on size and complexity, and I put a great deal of care into capturing what makes your home unique. Pricing is $425+

timeline

Standard turnaround is 3–4 weeks outside of the holiday season. If you have a specific deadline, please mention it when you book—rush fees may apply depending on how quickly you need it.
Once your order is placed, I’ll email you to confirm your spot and share your estimated completion date.

Please have a few clear photos of the home ready—ideally taken from the angle you want painted, with good lighting and as much surrounding detail as you’d like included.

Photos may be emailed or sent via text.

If you’d like the family name or address written at the bottom of the painting (e.g., The Hartmans, est. 2017), or if you prefer a horizontal vs. vertical orientation, just include that in your message.

You’ll receive tracking information as soon as it ships.
